What kind of analysis options Way2Select allows?
All four options of analysis have the same goal – to map the requirements of a given job and create a ranking list of job candidates, based on the level of their fit to these requirements. The choice among different options of analysis depends on situation and data availability.
If a new job post is created we recommend to use the “build profile based on the job requirements” option. This allows to easily define the requirements of this new job position. Imagine, on the other hand, that you are trying to fill a position that has existed for some time. Consider using a “role model” - a person that positively stands out in that role. Select the option “build profile on the basis of a given person”.
If your organization employs at least two people who may serve as role models, it is worth to choose “build profile on the basis of a group of people”. This option is also useful when there is at least one person in the organization who may serve as “role model” and at least one more person who performs poorly in this role and can be used as anti-model.
